Focus: There is a Purpose

We are going to continue in the next few verses of 1st Corinthians chapter three as we look at our purpose and the reason we are to focus on the things of the faith. Paul specifically indicates that as believers, we are to focus. The reason for this is very important; those who don't know Jesus end up lost for eternity.
The key for each of us to realize is that we have a role and a specific task within that eternal role. Just as we looked last week at how we are to mature in our faith, our maturity is to result in God's glorification. Paul writes and says, you are not your own, you were bought at a price, therefore, honor God with your bodies.
What does it mean for you and I to honor God? Let's dive in this morning and ask God to speak through His written word and for the Holy Spirit of the Living God to apply the truths of the Bible to our lives right where we are.
