We Have A Mission

It is good to gather this morning to celebrate who Jesus is in our lives today. I am so looking forward to what we are going to study the next couple of weeks and I am excited to share with you a theme for where we are headed in our future.
We want to welcome you to VLife! Whether it is your first time or your umpteenth time, welcome! Starting today and for the next few weeks, we are going to focus on the theme, “That They May Know.”
This morning, we are going to look at a couple of passages that deal with our purpose in this life of faith. Jesus, in the high priestly prayer, prays, “that they may know…” What if that became the basis for what we do in life? What if, “they they may know…” becomes the way that we live our faith as families, as couples, in our work, and in our play?
I am looking forward to where we are headed! The great thing about the life of faith that we are called to live is simply this, we are headed somewhere. Our goal is to make sure we are headed in the direction and step with the person of the Holy Spirit.
