The Method of Stewardship
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I hope that being with family and friends made your home be filled with joy and the true things that we are to be thankful for. I hope you kept your list and that you are seeking to be a steward of your faith by being grateful, as we looked at last week.
Today, we are going to conclude our look at the concept of stewardship as we look at the life of David. David’s reign was coming to an end. In that moment, his ego got in the way of his faith and he sinned.
Because of the Nation’s sin and his, God sent discipline. In the midst of the discipline, David cried out and God heard and responded to his cry. It is in this setting, that we look at the thing, idea, concept, and attitude that should drive our stewardship of the faith.
Today will begin our transition as we look at the birth of our Messiah, Jesus Christ, over the next few weeks. What a great time of the year this is! Lauri and I are so glad to be serving here with you and we look forward to our fourth Christmas with our Victory Life family. Guest, long time member, or regular attender, we are glad you are here!
